China Purchases US Soybean Cargoes in New Agricultural Trade Deals

Chinese state-owned trading companies purchased 8–10 US soybean cargoes during the week reported on 14 October, with each cargo carrying approximately 65,000 metric tonnes. The reported premium was $3.10–$3.20 per bushel above January US soybean futures; the final total purchase value was not disclosed.
