Portugal Awards US$301,000 for Naval Server and Data-Storage Equipment

On 21 October, Portugal’s Ministry of National Defence published an award valued at approximately €269,968, equivalent to US$301,000, for servers and data-processing and storage equipment for the Navy. The amount is an awarded technology procurement, not a separate AI investment; technology providers and institutions can explore secure data architecture, storage optimisation and computing modernisation, while HPC can provide technology-planning and high-performance computing services with project-specific pricing.
